    Why we made this

    This product was created to set a new standard for performance. Our sport demands a higher class tool to wear when it’s blazing hot. That’s why we took a fabric with true performance characteristics and are introducing it to the offshore fishing world.

    The Teak Collection is made out of 66.5% modal which is a wood derivative, hence the name ‘Teak’. It’s also composed of 28.5% recycled polyester, giving it performance characteristics like moisture wicking, UPF protection and more. Lastly it contains 5% spandex for a nice fit and comfort.

    Fit: True to size

    The name of the product gives it away, the Teak fabric made out by combining a wood derivative, which is created by spinning wood pulp into fibre which then gets turned into fabric by combining it with Spandex and Polyester. This shirt feels twice as soft as cotton and can handle 3x the amount of washes than cotton.

    The Teak fabric composition includes recyclable polyester, which adds a layer of performance characteristics to the garment. What we were specifically blown away with was the quick TTD (Time to Dry). We measured the TTD to be around <3 minutes, which is significantly faster than the 5-10 minute industry standard.
